A leading fintech company with a full German banking license is looking for a Senior IT Internal Auditor to strengthen its team. The company provides Banking-as-a-Service solutions, enabling businesses to integrate financial products via APIs.
Your Role:
- Independently plan and conduct IT audits, including report drafting and coordination with business units
- Contribute to the assurance of internal controls, compliance, IT security, and process efficiency
- Follow up on internal and external audit findings
- Support internal projects in line with MaRisk, BAIT, and KWG
- Help improve and develop auditing methods
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in auditing IT standards (MaRisk, BAIT, IT-Grundschutz, ISO 2700X)
- Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field
- Experience with auditing techniques, especially ToD and ToE
- Solid knowledge of key IT processes such as BCM, incident/problem management, cloud, outsourcing, and software development
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Team player with strong decision-making skills and a hands-on attitude
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
