Our customer, one of the leading companies for cleaning tools in Germany based in Solingen, is looking for a Junior or Senior Regulatory Compliance Coordinator (m/f/x) Become part of this great company. Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Responsible for compliance of our new and existing products to all applicable regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of standards/regulations such as REACH, Prop65, RoHS, GHS, IEC, UL, CSA, etc.
- Knowledge of the changing UK regulations and rule changes as they move forward.
- Create and Maintain Database of all regulatory aspects for our Existing and New Products.
- Drive to reduce/eliminate SCIP registered products
- Research and communicate the applicable standards for our products and be aware of regulation changes.
- Work with consultants in reviewing, evaluating, and understanding applicable regulations and standards.
- Interface with test labs and work with Quality, Sourcing, Suppliers, and R&D to assure all products being sold, reviewed, or developed meet all compliance requirements.
- Communicate requirements to appropriate departments or cross functional teams.
- Experience with Ecovadis and company sustainability programs including communications and guidance.
- Ability to work closely with different departments effectively.
- Create and document best practices and procedures including developing a process for Quality and Customer Services to be able to efficiently respond to all typical internal and external regulatory requests.
- Report regulatory related costs to Director of Global Regulatory Compliance.
- Work with internal teams to develop path to move from Silver to Gold levels in Ecovadis program.
Education, knowledge, and experience:
- Related College Degree – Technical field with experience in environmental, green industry (Optional)
- One to three year working experience in regulatory compliance, preferable from the durable goods industry.
- Experienced in Project Management (Optional)
- Some experience with low-level chemical inventory work (Optional)
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communications skills
- MS Office
- English (good verbal and written skills)
- German (good verbal and written skills)
